The time it will take to develop competency in the units that form this qualification is dependent on& existing skills and experience.
Typically, to complete within the specified course duration, it is recommended that students commit approximately 8 - 10 hours per week plus additional time for assessment to develop their competency through a range of learning, work-based skills testing and assessment activities.

All 7 units of competency are required to be completed for this qualification.

Additional Information
Entry requirements
While there are no mandatory entry requirements, It is recommended entrants have:
- A minimum of six months employment or volunteer experience in working with a range of people in the workplace
- Competency in literacy (reading and writing), oral communication and learning strategies – sufficient to use coaching tools to coach people in the workplace; reflect on their coaching and receive feedback; and document answers to assessment questions.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
