Smart and Skilled Program
The Australian governments both at Commonwealth and State levels seek to support companies and individuals alike to upskill, retrain and build their workforce capability. One of the ways in which they do this is through funding training programs that support eligible companies and individuals.
What government funding options are currently available in AIM?
We recommend you check the government program you are interested in to see if you are eligible for subsidised training and then consider the training or course that will support your career or employment opportunity.

Are you eligible for Traineeship?
A traineeship is a training agreement between a trainee and their respective employer who agrees to train the trainee in a specific industry, and the trainee agrees to work and learn. This is a great way to upskill while learning and Traineeships are available for people of all ages. Traineeships usually last between nine to 48 months, depending on the vocation and certificate level undertaken.
When an employer takes on a trainee, the trainee will work either full-time or part-time, while receiving formal training from a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), like AIM. As well as formal training, trainees will also benefit from on-the-job training and experience they gain in the workplace.
