Time Commitment
The time it will take to develop competency in the units that form this qualification is dependent on existing skills and experience.
Typically, to complete within the specified course duration, it is recommended that students commit approximately 16-18 hours per week plus additional time for assessment to developing their competency through a range of learning, work-based skills testing and assessment activities.
Assessments
All 12 units of competency are required to be completed for this qualification.
Students should contact the RTO for options including any RPL or credit transfers.
This program has been designed to accommodate working professionals. Accordingly, all training, course material completion and practical activity are conducted in a way that is mindful of an appropriate work-life balance.

If not listed, up to 2 elective units may be selected from an Advanced Diploma or above, from this or any other currently endorsed Training Package qualification or accredited course. if not listed, 1 unit may be selected from a Diploma from this or any other currently endorsed Training Package qualification or accredited course.

Additional Information
Entry requirements
While there are no mandatory entry requirements, It is recommended entrants have:
- A minimum of six months employment or volunteer experience in working with a range of people in the workplace
- Competency in literacy (reading and writing), oral communication and learning strategies – sufficient to use coaching tools to coach people in the workplace; reflect on their coaching and receive feedback; and document answers to assessment questions.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Recognition of skills and knowledge gained through previous studies, work and life experiences may be used to award competency for Units of Competency within this qualification. Read more on Recognition of Prior Learning and Credit Transfer or call 1300 658 337.
