Early bird closes on Friday 10th Feb for International Women’s Day Great Debate
International Women’s Day takes place on March 8th each year around the world celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political successes of women. AIM is delighted to once again host an International Women’s Day Debate in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney with the support of Business News Australia.
This year's International Women’s Day Great Debate will address the topic ‘Australia in 2017 is still a man’s world’. This event celebrates the importance of gender diversity in Australian society, specifically in the Australian workplace, highlighting that Diversity Matters.
We are excited to welcome our three fantastic MC’s to keep things clean, on-topic and, of course, to stop too much fur flying.
Brisbane: Erin Molan is a sports reporter and presenter for the Nine Network. Erin is also a very proud ambassador for a number of charities - including Save Our Sons, Defence Care and Bowel Cancer Australia.
Melbourne: Jane Caro is an author, journalist, broadcaster, and social commentator. Jane has published eight books, including two novels and her memoir “Plain Speaking Jane” was released in September 2015.
Sydney: Gretel Killeen is a writer, journalist, comedian and humanitarian. Gretel has hosted Logie-Award-winning TV, won a Mo Award for her writing and spent 17 years as one of Australia’s top voice artists.
We are also thrilled to announce our debaters who will share some witty arguments, powerful leadership insights and offer a refreshingly raw look at the provocative topic of ‘Australia in 2017 is still a man’s world’.
