AIM delivers vital project management training in Fiji
AIM Education & Training has recently partnered with Fiji National University (FNU) to deliver vital project management training and qualifications in Fiji.
This program, the first of its kind in Fiji, saw a number of local professionals from various industries across construction, IT and business development taking part in a week long intensive project management training program.
Participants learnt the broad range of skills required to plan, lead and execute the end-to-end delivery of projects and also had the opportunity to have their training accredited to an industry-leading Diploma of Project Management.
Fiji National University’s Head of Training, Amrish Narayan has said that access to these project management qualifications is incredibly valuable to both local students and the local economy.
“Fiji is developing rapidly and as these development activities are rolled out, we need project managers who can plan, execute and control projects to a consistently high level,” Mr Narayan said.
“We decided to partner with AIM in delivering these qualifications due to their long standing industry reputation and their ability to deliver the program in a flexible format that met our students’ needs.”
AIM’s National Corporate Solutions Manager, Rebecca Middleton has said that AIM is proud to be partnering with FNU to provide project management knowledge and skills to Fijian managers.
“For more than 75 years we’ve been providing vital leadership and management education to Australia’s managers so it’s incredibly exciting for us to be able to now deliver these qualifications to Fijian managers,” Ms Middleton said.
“Whether you work in a project management role or as a project team member it’s undeniable that project management capabilities are essential in the modern business environment.
“We’re proud to have our project management programs endorsed by the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM), which is a mark of quality and demonstrates that these qualifications meet the requirements of the international project management industry.”
AIM has a range of short courses and nationally recognised certifications, from introductory sessions to an Advanced Diploma, all endorsed by the Australian Institute of Project Management, so you can learn end-to-end project management, enhance your stakeholder management skills, learn to problem solve and manage project operations.
