AIM 2024 Year In Review
As 2024 ends, it is inspiring to reflect on how AIM has continued to empower individuals and organisations with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to thrive in a rapidly changing world. From impactful events and insightful webinars to innovative courses and meaningful partnerships, we have been proud to support our community in achieving their professional goals.
This year, our Tailored Learning Solutions saw over 4,000 organisations enrolling in closed cohorts to upskill their teams. In addition, we also welcomed more than 26,000 students to our open programs, both on campus and online, including approximately 5,000 from government departments. With a continued focus on innovation, we remain dedicated to preparing individuals for success in the dynamic and ever-evolving business landscape.
Here are some key moments that defined our 2024.
Research Highlights: Insights That Drive Change
We continued to provide valuable, research-based insights to help organisations and individuals navigate the complexities of modern leadership and workforce development. We published two key whitepapers that offered data-driven analysis on emerging challenges and actionable strategies. These whitepapers explored the transformation of leadership amidst global disruptions and shifting workplace dynamics, as well as the essential role of Learning & Development in addressing skill gaps and boosting organisational resilience.
Read on for a summary of the key findings and insights from these whitepapers.
Leadership Reimagined: Shaping Tomorrow with Purpose
We conducted a comprehensive survey with 586 respondents across 68 industries in Australia, with primary objectives to explore evolving leadership trends, evaluate leadership skills, and examine the impact of leadership on organisations. The findings revealed key challenges arising from global disruptions, alongside the critical importance of motivation, engagement, and emotional intelligence in effective leadership.
Budgeting for Growth: Navigating Learning Budgets in a Dynamic Market
This whitepaper explored the current state of Learning & Development (L&D) amid ongoing market volatility, skill gaps, and technological advancements. It highlighted the compelling business case for investing in L&D and presented insights gathered from a survey of 307 respondents across diverse industries in Australia. These findings provided valuable data to guide decision-making around training budgets, skills priorities, and the evolving dynamics of L&D.
