The Year in Review
The Australian Institute of Management welcomed a plethora of exciting changes in 2023. From new partnerships to content refreshes that better reflect the current industry standards, AIM has been dedicated to continually providing premium education to its students.
Early this year AIM introduced our delivery of the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, the most recent iteration to date. For students who hold the TAE40110 and the TAE40116, AIM is offering an upgrade course that utilises your current qualification as a pathway to complete the TAE40122 (see below).
As part of our dedication to remaining at the forefront of vital knowledge and skills used in modern business, AIM wanted to provide students with the opportunity to delve into the digital nuances of the business landscape. Hence, AIM welcomed the BSB50120 Diploma of Business (Digital Transformation) into our portfolio.
Let’s also not forget AIM’s partnership with Open Door Coaching was launched in August, introducing two new Vocational Qualifications, allowing our students to study the 10834NAT Certificate IV in Workplace and Business Coaching and the 10835NAT Diploma of Organisational Coaching.
One of the biggest moments in the Vocational space this year was the launch of AIM’s Qualification Microcredentials. Built from the individual units of our market-leading Qualifications, these programs are delivered with the same standard. Our first launch included six courses:
- Applying Critical Thinking In The Workplace
- Managing Organisational Change
- Mastering Social Media Advertising
- Personal Health and Wellbeing at Work
- Planning and Prioritising
- Strategic Social Media Marketing.
Three months later, another six courses were added to this portfolio:
- Managing Workplace Health Safety, and Risks
- Developing and Applying Emotional Intelligence
- Managing People Performance
- Project Management Planning
- Best Practice Cybersecurity
- Understanding and Analysing Data
In the closing moments of 2023, AIM introduced the TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set, a program allowing students to gain formal recognition for their skills and therefore assess without the need for supervision. In tandem with the TAE40110 and TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Upgrade, AIM’s Vocational Qualifications leave 2023 with a bang.
AIM continued its commitment to delivering top-quality learning experiences by introducing new programs and conducting necessary content refreshes. The focus remained on addressing the latest trends and empowering professionals with the skills and knowledge to excel in their respective fields.
Throughout the year, AIM introduced many Short Courses, with a particular emphasis on our Digital Marketing, and Technology faculties. This portfolio featured courses such as Digital Fundamentals, SEO Strategy and Implementation, Power BI Fundamentals for Business, and Power BI Advanced Techniques for Business. Additionally, existing courses in the Leadership and Strategy faculty underwent a content refresh. We enhanced programs like Leading with Emotional Intelligence, and Switch Thinking and updated online variations for Leading People and Managing Team Performance.
June marked a significant milestone for AIM as we collaborated with Laurel Papworth to launch the AI Is My CoPilot course. This transformative program empowers participants with the knowledge and skills to embrace and leverage the benefits of AI applications, quickly transitioning into one of our highly acclaimed 1-day programs.
Building on our commitment to bridging skill gaps and leading in digital innovation, AIM further expanded its impact in August by partnering with Academy Xi. Together, we introduced four comprehensive 1-day Virtual Short Courses in the technology space, covering essential topics such as Cybersecurity Fundamentals, Data Insights for Business, Data Visualisation for Business, and UX Design Fundamentals.
Approaching the end of 2023, we look forward to building on our successes and maintaining leadership in providing top-tier education and professional development. With a focus on innovation and over 40,000 students trained across all of our Faculties and training options over the past twelve months, AIM remains dedicated to preparing individuals for success in the ever-evolving business landscape.
Looking ahead to 2024, we return to offering even greater value, offering opportunities and savings across our entire suite of Short Courses, Vocational Qualifications, AIM Microcredentials, and Mini MBAs. Don’t miss the opportunity to invest in your professional growth and organisational success. Unleash the potential of 2024 with AIM!
AIM's campuses will be closed for the holidays at 5 pm on Friday, December 22nd. We reopen on Monday, January 8th, 2024.
