The AMCI will allow you to benchmark your organisation’s management capability against the 10 key drivers of management capability. In order to gain an international perspective, AIM has partnered with peak management bodies in the Asia Pacific region to create an international management capability index for 2016.

Looking back at 2015’s Management Capability
Findings from AIM’s 2015 Australian Management Capability Index saw that business capability in Australia continued to slip.
The report revealed a further decline in the headline performance rating with Australian businesses only operating at 67.7% of what they could be achieving compared to 69% last year.
Australian CEO’s and managers assessed their organisations as being most capable in:
- Integrity and Corporate Governance (82.9%)
- Financial Management (74.8%)
- External Relationships (71.5%)
They assessed their organisations as least capable in:
- Organisational Capability (62.9%)
- Application of Technology and Knowledge (64.4%)
- Visionary and Strategic Leadership (64.6%)
The AMCI provides Australian business leaders with the opportunity to assess their management capability across a range of areas to benchmark performance against like organisations locally and internationally. The AMCI compares results by ownership type, industry, employee numbers, annual $ turnover, managerial level and gender, making it easy for any organisation to benchmark their management capability.
The deadline of the 2016 AMCI survey has been extended to 29 July 2016.
