Mentoring. Share your skills, or learn from others.
Gain access to Member Exchange, AIM’s 4-month mentoring program, free of charge! An ideal opportunity to share your skills as a Mentor or learn from others as a Mentee.
The Australian Institute of Management offers a complimentary national mentoring program as part of the benefits available to our Professional Members. AIM is breaking down the geographical barrier by offering this mentoring program exclusively to all Professional Members no matter where you reside.
A mutually rewarding relationship
Mentoring has proved to be valuable for Mentors and Mentees alike. For Mentors, it can be hugely rewarding to share knowledge and wisdom accumulated over the years – not to mention fascinating to see things through a Mentee's eyes. Meanwhile, Mentees relish the chance to ask questions, seek advice and feel the support of someone who has already walked down a similar career pathway.
How is it done and what to expect
Member Exchange is a complimentary 4-month program for AIM Professional Members. Matching between a Mentor and Mentee is based on industry and role experience plus the desired goals a Mentee will focus on during the program. Mentors and Mentees will have access to a program booklet providing information on how the mentoring program works, introductory webinar about the benefits of mentoring and monthly mentoring articles.

"The AIM Mentor Program has had a positive influence on my professional development and I found it to be a personally gratifying experience. My Mentor, Michael and I met regularly over Skype since we are located in different states, however, the distance has not been a barrier to success.
Michael has been a terrific Mentor sharing a wealth of knowledge and experience across a wide range of topics from tender preparation, project management, marketing, company values and culture, leadership and staff management.
Our discussions were always productive and rewarding, leaving me with a wealth of points and tips to boost my skills. The Mentor Program has truly been a valued and appreciated experience".
